Consolidei abaixo alguns eventos gratuitos e online, disponíveis no Eventbrite, que podem interessar alguns de vcs. Estes eventos são focados em atividades para nos distrairmos um pouco durante o lockdown e alguns para manter as crianças ocupadas.

The models will be simple to medium in difficulty. Linda is an award-winning Origami artist and designer who owns Paper Tree in San Francisco, the Origami Store.

  • [Jan 16] Craft-a-thon: Crocheting for a Cause!: WestSide Baby (westsidebaby.org) is a wonderful Seattle non-profit that meets the basic needs of vulnerable children to promote safety, security and healthy development. They provide essential items to meet the basic needs of children by collecting and distributing diapers, clothing and equipment. This year we'll support them in their mission by crocheting beanies for babies and children. All levels welcome and of course, it's free to sign up! This event is 100% volunteer-run, all you got to bring are your own crochet supplies, postage, and a mailing envelope.

  • [Jan 20] Canon: The INCREDIBLE World of Macro Photography: In this class, there will be an introduction to the incredibly small and (sometimes big) detailed universe of macro photography. The goal of this course is to leave everyone feeling inspired by the endless possibilities and new world not normally visible to the naked eye. This class is designed for an individual who is looking to cultivate different creative outlets and make fun, unique images.

  • [Domingos] Begin your Tai Chi journey: An introduction to essential Tai Chi skills: Learning even basic Tai Chi skills can promote balance, calmness, and mental focus.

  • [Sextas] The Write In Creative Writing Workshop: Every 3rd Friday we will gather and write. No writing experience is necessary, and writers of all levels and backgrounds are welcome. Feel free to write a letter, short story, essay, song, or rant. After writing for each prompt, we'll have time to share. Sharing is optional, but we will use this time for supportive feedback.

  • [Sábados] San Diego Ballet Saturday Morning Ballet Classes: The San Diego Ballet offers free ballet classes for children every Saturday Morning! Children will learn fun stretches and ballet basics! All classes are on Zoom. Classes are for children ages 6- 11 and are for beginners and intermediate level dancers.
